As Smart Communication's owner, he was able to show a fun and effective way of bridging out to Filipinos nationwide (with the use of brilliant and effective celebrity endorsers). And by actually bringing NBA All-Stars, such as Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant, he not only fulfilled a personal dream, but the collective dream of the thousands of basketball fans in the country. He's a man to emulate, that's for sure!
Manny Pacquiao
Who doesn't know the nation's boxing pride? A pound-for-pound boxing king, Manny Pacquiao's success in the world of boxing showed the world that the Filipino can indeed make it. His flashy and powerful moves have toppled over heavyweights like Ricky Hatton. The great thing about Pacquiao is that just how powerful he gives he punches, he makes sure that everything is A-OK. He even does this with his opponents – often not giving them the punishment that some typical boxers would do on some lopsided matches. Pacquio's living his dream not only in the ring – he is also an accomplished actor, even having his own game show. He's also into politics, using his power to help those in need. He's a modern-day superhero, the rags-to-riches staple character!

The bubbly and sexy actress, Curtis showed that she's more than meets the eye. The funny yet multi-talented star has been seen as a down-to-earth individual. Nothing seems to faze her, even taking the crowded Metro Rail Transit train system (which, in case of celebrities, may seem as a dangerous thing to do) just to catch a concert. Even with detractors, she makes eyes turn with a smile. Curtis has recently delved into singing, releasing an award-winning album. The girl does what she wants, without needing to step on anyone!
